What we do

UrbanPromise Honduras is a children and youth ministry in Copán Ruinas, Honduras. At UPH, we focus on not only serving, but empowering the people we serve at every level.

Children in our after-school and vacation camps are provided with homework help, healthy snacks, dynamic classes, and lots of fun. After sixth grade, they are not left aside, but have the opportunity to volunteer in camps as a Leader-in-Training for one year before applying for part-time employment in camps through our Youth Program. These youth leaders have access to mentoring, tutoring, and weekly youth nights where they share a meal, play, and learn more about God’s word. Our youth leaders learn how to set goals and work toward them, be responsible, and love and serve their neighbor with God’s love—all while receiving the support and encouragement they need to grow.
